The skill is primarily used for the skales as this basically limits them to wanding (or whatever they do) at you. Since they are the deadly force down there VoS prevents them from being so deadly. He was only mentioning the run portion for a helpful side effect. You obviously dont need it to run past, but if you dont wanna deal with any possible trouble. VoS would work in your favor.

Quite so, but from what I reckon, ALL the other builds for this run, Warrior or not, have had no problem running past the skales without any form of spell-blocker (spellbreaker, obs flesh ect.). A dervish should be able to do so too. I am just saying that using your elite only on getting there is a waste.

Maybe with Vow of Silence you can also kill the Scales?
With enough points in Mysticism you will have 1 sec window while you are vulnerable to spells. Anyone tried it?

You just said it. The 1 sec window is enough for the skales to cast Grenths Balance 1/4 sec cast time. THAT will be your only problem.

True, If you could deal enough damage to kill one skale in basically 10 seconds.. well that would just be fantastic.

i still don't understand why you can't replace Pious Haste with Eternal Aura. This way you could completely recharge your avatar and never leave the elite form. Oh btw, these are the specs for Eternal Aura

All nearby foes take 40...88 holy damage. For 10 seconds, nothing happens. When this Enchantment ends, all other Dervish skills are recharged.

Why is the physical resistance needed. Since the armor stacking nerf you cant go above the 40 gained from AoB.

You didn't read the thread. Avatar of Balthazar is not needed.

This was posted before the armor stacking "feature".
